Balmain Font

Balmain is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1945 by designer Pierre Balmain. The brand is known for its glamorous and elegant clothing, often featuring intricate details and luxurious fabrics.

The Balmain logo uses an inline serif called Smaragd. Gudrun Zapf von Hesse created Smaragd, an all-caps titling face with hairline serifs, for D. Stempel AG in 1952. The subtext "PARIS" below is written in Gill Sans.
