Crazy Rich Asians is a 2018 romantic comedy film directed by Jon M. Chu, based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Kevin Kwan. The film follows a Chinese-American woman who discovers her boyfriend is one of Singapore's wealthiest bachelors and battles his disapproving mother.

On the poster for ''Crazy Rich Asians,'' the font used is a geometric sans-serif known as Futura with light and medium weights for "RICH" and "CRAZY". This typeface was designed by German type designer Paul Renner and published in 1928 by Bauer Type Foundry.
