Dolemite Is My Name is a Netflix original film released in 2019. It is a biographical comedy-drama film about the life of comedian, actor, and musician Rudy Ray Moore, who is best known for his character Dolemite in the 1970s. The film stars Eddie Murphy as Rudy Ray Moore and follows his rise to fame as he creates and performs as Dolemite, a loud and brash stand-up comedian.

Neue Aachen Bold Italic is the font used for the movie's title. Released by Letraset in 1969, Aachen was created by Alan Meeks under the direction of Colin Brignall. Monotype's Jim Wasco expanded the italic and weight options. Neuer Aachen, the updated Aachen, now has nine weights and corresponding italic styles.
