My Brilliant Friend is a TV series based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante. The show follows the lifelong friendship and tumultuous relationship between two intelligent and determined women, Elena and Lila, growing up in a poor neighborhood in 1950s Naples, Italy.

The font used for the title on the My Brilliant Friend TV series poster is Americana Extra Bold, designed by Richard Isbell in 1965. The smaller text on the poster uses Cantoria, designed by Ron Carpenter.
