Outlander Font

Outlander is a historical fiction and romance television series based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon. The show follows the story of a nurse from 1945 who is transported back in time to 1743 and falls in love with a Scottish warrior, leading her to navigate the complexities of life in 18th century Scotland.

The title of the TV series uses Charlemagne Regular, a roman serif font designed by Carol Twombly. The font is inspired by classical roman letterforms revived during Charlemagne's reign and refined versal capitals of England from the late 10th century.
