The Emoji [Movie] Font

The Emoji Movie is a 2017 American computer-animated science fiction comedy film that follows the story of Gene, a multi-expressional emoji who lives in a smartphone. Gene sets out on a journey to become a "meh" emoji like his parents, but along the way, he meets other emojis and discovers that he can use his unique ability to help his friends.

The Emoji movie title in the poster is very similar to Gotham Ultra designed by Tobias Frere-Jones in 2000. Gotham is a geometric sans-serif typeface that is among the most widely used fonts and is inspired by the architectural lettering from mid-century New York City.
