Tokyo 2020 Logo Font

The 2020 Summer Olympics, was the rescheduled Summer Olympic Games held in Tokyo, Japan in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing outstanding athletic performances and creating memorable moments for athletes and spectators worldwide.

The original Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic logo, designed by Kenjiro Sano, featured a "T" symbol representing Tokyo, Tomorrow, and Team, accompanied by the Olympic rings. However, due to plagiarism allegations, a new logo was unveiled in April 2016, featuring an industrial sans serif typeface similar to Din 1451.
