It is the second installment in the Zero Escape series and was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. The game is set in a complex and mysterious facility known as the "Nonary Game," where nine people are forced to participate in a deadly game of survival.

It was designed by British designer Neville Brody and released in 1989 by Linotype GmbH as a condensed sans serif font.
